International Customs & Import Duties

As a business, we cover all outbound customs fees and export documentation charges to ensure your package leaves the UK smoothly.

However, any import duties, taxes, or clearance fees levied by your destination country's customs authority are the recipient's responsibility.

Why import fees are handled this way:

Local Government Regulations – Import duties and local VAT/GST are government-mandated taxes determined by your local customs authority upon arrival.

Variable Port-of-Entry Rates – Import fees vary widely depending on local tax laws, product classifications, and customs inspection procedures, making it impossible for us to calculate or pre-pay these on your behalf.

Independent Processing – Foreign customs agencies process charges directly with the recipient or through the destination courier before releasing the parcel.

We understand unexpected fees can be frustrating and want to be as transparent as possible. If you need additional documentation (such as a commercial invoice or proof of purchase) to assist with customs clearance
